3 Ways to Wear Blue Liquid Eye Liner

For many of us, a change of season usually calls for a bit of a switch up when it comes to our beauty routines. The start of Spring is the perfect opportunity to inject a little colour and try something a bit bolder. Blue liner was seen all over the Spring 2016 catwalks and when worn correctly, can create a really eye-catching and fun element to your makeup look.

blue-liquid-liner-trendWe show you how to wear the blue liquid eye liner trend in 3 different ways, from an everyday look, to a glamorous look for a night out using the Sapphire Blue Liquid Liner from ZAO Makeup. We fell in love with this liner as soon as it was released as part of their Autumn/Winter 2015/16 collection. The colour is so bold and is the perfect shade of cobalt blue, not wishy washy and very opaque. The formula is exactly the same as their original liquid liners, which come in a wide variety of colours. They are long lasting, pigmented, cruelty free, vegan with 100% natural ingredients and 33% organic ingredients.

Everyday Blue Liquid Liner

blue-liquid-linerA simple look that can be worn everyday as it doesn’t make too much of an impact, but still noticeable enough to attract lots of compliments! We drew a thin line along the top lash line, wiggling the colour right in-between the lashes making sure there was no skin colour left showing. Then created the flick at the outer corner of the eye to elongate the eyes. We then added some white liner by Couleur Caramel, and a touch of Pearly White eyeshadow from ZAO Makeup to the inner corner to brighten up the eyes.

Dramatic Arabic Blue Liquid Liner

Create a point and then come back the other way drawing a line underneath the lower lashes. Finish on the inner corner and create a point around the tear duct. Fill in the upper and lower waterline with ZAO Makeup black pencil to finish. Practise makes perfect with this one, and remember cotton buds are your best friends!

Colour Contrast Blue Liquid Liner

Apply to the crease of the eye with a fluffy brush and blend to avoid harsh edges, keep it looking really soft. The contrast between the peachy coral and the blue creates a really bold and flattering look and is great for anyone willing to try a little more colour! Line the upper and lower waterline with ZAO Makeup black pencil, and finish with a touch of ZAO Makeup Pearly White eyeshadow in the inner corner.
