    Lovely product unless you need waterproof

    I love that it’s so easy to refill my zao mascara and it does bring good volume however I wore it up a snowy mountain and I came down a panda. But because it’s not supposed to be waterproof I’ll still give it 5*

    I love Zao mascara and I’ve been using it for awhile now. I have very sensitive eyes and this mascara doesn’t irritate or feel heavy. Im also very conscious of plastic waste, so this also ticks the box although not plastic free, there is a reduction in waste. I also use the stick concealer which is just as good, if not better than Benefits similar concealer and the refills saves a few pennies too which is a bonus! If you want to reduce chemicals on your skin and reduce plastic waste try Zao make up.

    Its a nice feel but very wet and takes ages to dry and gets everywhere hard to build up

    Beautiful product

    Product arrived quickly. Beautiful, minimal packaging. Silky, glossy mascara that really produces thick, long lashes with no clumping or irritation.

    Starting at the base of your lashes, wiggle the mascara wand to coat the lashes, then smooth through to the tips. Repeat after a few moments for extra volume. Avoid pumping the mascara wand, as this gets air into the tube and dries out the product, reducing the shelf life.
