3 Eco-Friendly, Vegan Lipsticks for your Summer Holidays
What is Summer without a bright lip to match your maxi dress and sunnies?!
We’ve picked 3 lipsticks from the NEW Ere Perez Olive Oil lipstick collection and created this simply stunning makeup look (and it was tough to pick just 3 out of the 14 beautiful shades!), so you can achieve a Summery pout, courtesy of the cleanest, vegan and eco friendly ingredients.
We kept the eyes simple for this look, with a touch of shimmering ivory eyeshadow all over the lid and soft grey eyeliner to enhance and define. We used Hynt Beauty Perfetto Pressed Eyeshadow in ‘Sunlit Dune’ first, then highlighted the inner corners with shade ‘Diamond’ from Nude & Noir ‘Bijou’ Palette. We then used the slate grey eye pencil in ‘Stone’ from Ere Perez to draw along the top and lower lash line, then smudged to soften the edges. This gives the eyes definition without using a dark shade like a black or brown. We then applied 2 coats of the Hynt Beauty Nocturne Mascara in Black to finish the eyes.
On the cheeks, we added some subtle contouring with the ZAO Makeup Eyebrow Powder in 260 Blonde, this ash tone is the perfect shade for naturally enhancing cheekbones without that ‘Kim K’ overdone, heavy contour look. Then added a touch of cream blush with the pinky coral shade ‘Jasper’ from the Nude & Noir ‘Bijou’ palette.

For the City Explorer
When you’re spending the day exploring beautiful buildings, taking in the culture and popping into the local cafe’s, a natural pink lip colour is going to be less maintenance, and ensures you still look chic traipsing around cobbled streets. This shade ‘High Tea’ is the perfect dusty pink for everyday. The moisturising formula ensures your lips stay nourished all day, and long lasting formula means no need to touch up too often. Pair it with the Ere Perez Lipliner in ‘Sweet’ for even more staying power and a defined lip line.
For the Sunset Cocktails
For something a little more vibrant to wear for your Summer evening cocktails, we chose ‘Big Band’, a beautiful bold orangey red. This colour looks amazing with a tan as sun-kissed skin really enhances the orange tones in this lipstick. Pair it with a shimmering bronzer to really get your glow on.
This bold shade works well with Couleur Caramel lip pencil in 107 Red to give your lips a defined lip line. For even longer lasting wear, apply the lipstick, blot with a tissue and reapply, blot again then dust over a layer of translucent loose powder, then re-apply the lipstick one last time, and you will have transfer-proof lipstick all night long!
For the Night-Time Diva
Our last lipstick is for the party gals! This shade is ‘First Date’, a fun, magenta pink to pair with your party dress whilst dancing on the beach under the stars. This blue based pink looks great with a black feline flick on the eyes, the NEW Zao Makeup Felt Tip Pen Eyeliner is super easy to use and gentle for sensitive eyes. You can even up the glow factor with a cream highlight like the Ere Perez Vanilla Highlighter in Falling Star.
